Blood is a gift of life that cannot be manufactured. Pahal Welfare Society has been organizing regular blood donation camps twice a year since its inception, bringing together voluntary donors and connecting them with patients in critical need with HIV/AIDS, kidney/Cancer Patients and children with diseases are the main beneficries of Pahal.
Our blood donation drives are conducted in coordination with Samarpan Blood Bank, government health departments, and S.N. medical college. We also maintain an emergency blood donor network for urgent requirements.
Millions of people in India suffer from corneal blindness that can be cured through eye donation. Pahal has been at the forefront of spreading this awareness — helping people understand that one can gift sight even after death. When a person donates his/her eyes, two blind people can see the world.
We conduct awareness sessions, facilitate eye donation pledges, and collaborate with government eye banks and hospitals to spread the message in schools, colleges, and rural communities.
Women are at the heart of every family and community. Pahal's women empowerment programs include vocational training, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao awareness, legal literacy, and self-help group formation.
